Rochester District Heating is the only steam cooperative in New York State. Key to RDH's success is the ongoing interactive partnership of members, community leaders, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Monroe County and the City of Rochester. Called The Loop, the RDH non-profit heating cooperative is among a number of heating cooperatives in the United States.
