System Audit Steps
We utilize infrared thermal imaging cameras, infrared thermometers, visual observations and a host of other specialized equipment to assess operations of your facility steam station and equipment used to distribute steam and/or return of hot condensate. All areas are documented via digital photography including any customer-owned systems, equipment, piping, and traps.
Identify Areas for Improvement
Our team will put their experience and expertise to work surveying your steam system and identifing areas for improvement. Then, we will work with you to determine and prioritize projects that improve your system's reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
RDH Audit Deliverables
We provide you with a comprehensive report that details the findings of the audit and recommendations to assist with taking corrective actions. If rebates are available for the corrective actions, we can assist in the administration of the applications.
Case Study
In the midst of the winter season, we observed a notable increase in one customer's usage. Upon informing the customer, a system audit was requested. During the audit, several traps were found to be failed open. Failed open traps are a significant contributor to high energy consumption. After the member fixed the failed traps, their consumption decreased by more than 46%!
